Easily calculate individual taxes for Malaysian residents in the YA 2016 tax year (ended 31 December 2016).This app estimates income tax payable and allows users to input the full range of reliefs allowable on Form BE.
It contains helpful comments regarding the maximum allowed deduction for each relief; the user should enter the deduction they are entitled to for each.
The RM 9,000 individual allowance is automatically applied, as is the RM 400 rebate for gross income below RM 35,000.
All amount in MYR.
The app is suitable for calculations under single assessment (joint assessment not yet supported).
Gross income can be entered annually, monthly or weekly.
The app is designed for employment income specifically but may also be used to estimate the tax payable on any income that is taxed at the general individual income tax rates.
